Absolute fair for small money. The girl from reception, named bobo, is always busy to react to any customers wishes. we come back. For sure

Lovely staff

We stayed in a room above the kitchen, it was basic and clean. The only issue was that the water kept going off which was a pain. The resort is right on the beach which is lovely and the pool area was nice. The staff were so nice, they were very helpful and friendly. I would only go back to this island if there was another Full moon party on, otherwise we found the island a little boring and not as nice as others.

apart from one windy day ,first villa is in the perfect location for a relaxing,peaceful break,only 3 minute motorbike or taxi ride from thongsala peir and main area of koh phangan,in the other direction ,about 20 minute motorbike or taxi ride is haad rinn beach ,home of the full moon party,p.s dont attempt motorbike ride when pissed,it is very steep windy road,get a taxi.First Villa is the best value for money accommodation on Koh Phangan,staff named BO BO best ive seen in 5 trips to Thailand

This is the most incredible place I have stayed in the past two months of travel...so much so I am still there as I extended my stay 4 more nights. Beaubo is incredible and really unites the guests, especially the solo travelers, making for an instant travel family. The atmosphere is incredible, it is peaceful, yet easy to get anywhere. For the parties, Beaubo will coordinate travel so everyone gets there together, making a world of difference. The food is good, the pool is lovely, and the massages are phenomenal. I have felt so at home here, and have made some of the greatest friends of all of my travel.

Nothing...I may come back to Ko Phangan just to come here again.

I enjoyed staying at the First Villa Resort immensley. Upon arrival I was given an upgrade to a Sea View Room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location right on the beach was perfect. The only downside of the location was the dodgy driveway you had to negotiate to get there. Full of potholes and loose rocks, especially after rain. The service in the restaurant was quick and efficient and the food was very tasty. Be aware that if you hire a motorbike they use a local agent. The bike was fine but he does require you to leave your passport with him. Also I think you can probably get it cheaper if you look around yourself. I would highly recommend the First Villa Beach Resort and would certainly consider staying there again when I return to Koh Phangan

Stayed there in a better room in a second floor of the restaurant. The room was quite worn off.In addition to that it was also a little bit dirty and everything felt "sticky".
I've stayed at three different sides of the island and this beach was definitely the worst.
But what I was interested in the island was beautiful beaches and nature, not the full/half/black/shiva/ect moon parties.
